Arvian Law Firm (“Arvian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses SMS only for service-related updates on your matter: appointment reminders, booking confirmations, account notices, and replies to your inquiry. We do not send marketing texts.
This page covers both our Messaging Terms & Conditions and our Messaging Privacy Policy — what messages you may receive, how consent and opt-out work, and how we handle your mobile information.
The SMS program is voluntary. Opting in is not required to sign an engagement letter or to receive legal services — email, phone, the client portal, and mail remain available.
These are the carrier- and regulator-required disclosures for our SMS program.
You agree to receive informational messages (appointment reminders, account notifications, etc.) from Arvian Law Firm. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email us at info@arvian-immigration.com. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
No mobile information will be shared with any third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with or obtained by any third parties.
If you wish to be removed from receiving future communications, you can opt out at any time by texting STOP or contacting us at info@arvian-immigration.com.
In short: texts are case-related only, frequency varies, and your carrier’s standard message and data rates apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to unsubscribe, or email us instead.
SMS is used for short, service-related updates on your matter: appointment reminders, booking confirmations, account notices, document requests, receipt confirmations, and brief administrative updates.
SMS is not for emergencies or for sensitive material. Case documents, ID scans, payment details, and other confidential information are sent through email or the client portal, never by text.
Consent must be affirmative — for example, checking a box in a website form, signing a consent form, or emailing us to ask to be added. Silent or assumed consent does not count. We keep a record of the source, date, and time of consent to document lawful messaging.
By giving us a mobile number, you confirm it is yours or that you are authorized to use it. If the number changes or is no longer yours, please let us know so messages do not reach the wrong person.
SMS is optional. Declining it does not affect work on your matter — email, phone, the client portal, and mail remain available.
Message frequency varies and depends on the stage of your matter. Expect more texts during active filings and document collection, and few or none during quieter periods. There are no scheduled bulk sends.
Message and data rates may apply. Arvian does not charge a fee for SMS, but your mobile carrier may bill standard rates for messages or data under your plan — particularly while roaming.
Delivery depends on your carrier and network, not on us. Occasional delays or failed delivery happen; we follow up by email for anything time-sensitive.
Reply STOP to any text from Arvian Law Firm, or email info@arvian-immigration.com and ask us to remove your number from the SMS program.
After STOP, you may receive one final confirmation message, and then SMS stops. If you want to receive texts again later, you will need to opt in again.
Reply HELP to any text or email info@arvian-immigration.com. We respond during business hours.
For the SMS program we only keep what is needed to run it: your mobile number, your name, the date and source of your consent, your HELP and STOP requests, message history, and delivery status. The content of your replies is recorded only insofar as you write to us.
To send service-related texts, process opt-in and opt-out requests, respond to HELP, keep the minimum records needed for compliance, and avoid sending texts to anyone who has not asked for them.
Mobile information, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This is a firm rule, not an intention.
For technical delivery, limited information may be processed by our SMS gateway and customer-records provider. These vendors act only as our service providers, under contract, and may not use the information for their own purposes.
We keep SMS records only as long as needed to operate the program, document consent and opt-out, and meet professional and legal obligations. After that, the records are deleted or anonymized.
We use standard administrative and technical safeguards, but SMS itself is not a secure channel. Texts show on the lock screen, sit with the carrier, and may end up in device backups.
For that reason, do not send passwords, one-time codes, full document numbers, financial details, or medical information by SMS. We will arrange email or the client portal for anything that needs to be confidential.
Through a website form, a checkbox, a signed consent form, or an email asking to be added. Silent consent does not count.
We keep the date, time, form of consent, and the number on file — this is what documents lawful messaging if anyone asks.
Appointment reminders, confirmations, account notices, document requests — texts tied to your matter.
Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Or email us and ask to be removed.
After STOP, you may get one final confirmation, and then nothing. To resume, you’d need to opt in again.
| Situation | What to Do | Result |
